March Week One at Drygoods Design || make*do*mend

Is anyone else kind of shocked it’s March already? We’ve been so happy to hear all the great feedback on our spring schedule for 2014 and we’re still thrilled with what’s happened and what’s ahead. However, we also realize it’s a huge, if not overwhelming to see so many classes. Starting this week, we’ll be posting a break down of what’s ahead in the week.

First off, today was so fun! Our book signing with the lovely (yes, really, she is so nice and it always reassuring when the internet and reality match up:)) Rachel May was a blast. Mimosas and scrumptious lemon lavender cake from Macrina never hurt either. It was so busy, pictures weren’t in the plans but it never ceases to warm my heart to see the studio full of wonderful people and projects as it went into open quilting studio with Katie Pedersen.

The week started with a great book event and by Saturday evening, we’ll be ending it with a big bang when we welcome Blair Stocker for a fantastic book launch party for Wise Craft! The fun starts at 6 p.m. on March 8th.

Without further ado, here’s this week’s schedule:

Tuesday, March 4th – 6:15 – Zip it, Zip it Real Good

Wednesday, March 5th – 6:15 – Home Decor Sewing: Pillows

Thursday, March 6th – 6:00 – Drygoods Design Studio Night!

Friday, March 7th – 6:15 – Beginning Apparel Sewing (3 part class) – The Washi Dress

Saturday, March 8th – 12 to 4 p.m. – Open Apparel Studio
